Can This Natural Serum Change Your Eyebrow Game?

Until recently, I didn't care about my eyebrows.

I've never had them waxed, professionally shaped, expertly tweezed or craftily filled in. I wouldn't know my way around an eyebrow pencil to save my life and have all but completely ignored my brows. Sure, I maintain their shape by tweezing them myself, but brow maintenance has, quite literally, never been on my list of beauty regimen must-dos.

And then eyebrows became popular again.

Suddenly, my Instagram discover section and Facebook newsfeed were filled with advertisements and images of the "perfect" brow. Whether you're drawing them in, having them tattooed on, or microblading - one of the latest obsessions in eyebrow care - chances are you have done something to enhance your brows.

But do you take care of them?

Apparently, doing so is a cinch.

Toronto-based skincare brand, Province Apothecary, has a Full Brown Serum made with argan oil, rosemary leaf oil, and coffee oil (among other natural ingredients) which purports to give you healthier, fuller-looking brows. And though my brows are just fine on their own - people often tell me I have the "perfect eyebrows," which I have never thought to be that big of a deal - I gravitated towards the Serum when ordering shampoo and facial wash online from a wellness site.

For $36.00, you may assume the price to be quite steep for something which may or may not do anything apart from hydrating your eyebrows. But you'd be pleasantly surprised, I'm sure, when you notice that your brows actually do look fuller, healthier, and soft to the touch.

I have been using this Serum for almost four weeks now, and I find myself tweezing my brows twice a week as opposed to my once-a-week brow routine. The Serum has not only encouraged more brow growth, but has left my brows feeling soft and looking healthier than ever - something I never thought I'd care about but apparently now do.

Typically I wouldn't write about a product as irrelevant as a brow serum or treatment; I mean, if we're being honest, most serums (natural or no) aren't entirely effective at correcting or alleviating eyebrow issues such as thinning brows, but somehow Province Apothecary's Full Brow Serum has done exactly that. Most online reviews of the Serum are overwhelmingly positive, and people are loving the Serum's kind list of natural ingredients and organic oils. For all intents and purposes, if you're looking for a simple, natural, and effective brow serum to grow healthier brows, this would be it. The holy grail.

It does, however, leave your brows feeling quite greasy. I have taken to using this Serum every other night, applying it about 25-30 minutes before bed in order to allow it to soak in and penetrate my skin without leaving a slick coating of Serum on my pillow cases. One drop per brow is all you need, and applying it to damp brows (as PA suggests) works far better than applying it to dry brows. Because so little goes such a long way, you can likely get away with the 7ml bottle of this miracle brow stuff, but wearing it during the day may not fly well if you wear any sort of brow makeup. Beware the oiliness of this Serum, brow-tint users!

Would I recommend giving this Serum a go? Absolutely. As far as natural brow serums go, this may be the most effective one on the market yet. And it just so happens to be perfectly suited for everyone - even those of us who have never cared about our brows (thank you, Instagram, for forcing us to step up our brow game).
